aboutus
Welcome to FreeU, home of the F.R.O.G.S.!
Shackle Free’s online learning platform provides villagers with access to several powerful learning tracks. Each track is self-paced and can be successfully completed within 3–12 months, depending on the amount of time delegated to study. Once enrolled, you will receive instructions on how to log in and begin. ATTENTION: Registration is now closed for the Spring Semester for all tracks; excluding the Digital Literacy Track in which enrollment is continuous. Please check your email for late registration approval or for the next course offering date.

Digital Literacy Track
The Digital Literacy track at Free University, in partnership with NorthStar Digital Literacy at Queens University, helps learners build the essential technology skills needed for everyday life, work, and community engagement. Participants gain confidence with computers, devices, internet safety, email, online job tools, digital forms, and navigating key online services. The track equips residents with practical, real‑world skills that strengthen independence and open doors to new opportunities.
